ENFIELD CENTRAL TOWN FUELING DEPOTREQUEST FOR PROPOSALSCONTRACT No. 24-10SEPTEMBER 26, 2024Sealed proposals for the project named above will be received at the office of the Director of Finance until 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2024, Thereafter, proposals will be opened in public and read aloud, or opened and read aloud pursuant to the applicable provisions of the Governor's Executive Orders. Responses received after this date and time will not be opened.Funding for this project is being made available through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Background
The Town of Enfield is soliciting proposals for the Enfield Central Town Fueling Depot project, funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
The project aims to upgrade the existing fueling depot located at 40 Moody Road, Enfield, CT. The Town's Department of Public Works is overseeing this initiative to enhance municipal services and infrastructure.

Work Details
The work includes various construction and installation tasks as outlined in the technical specifications. Key components include:
1. Mobilization, Site Security, Temporary Signage, Safety Plan, and Survey.
2. Material and Compaction Testing.
3. Sedimentation Erosion Controls.
4. Demolition, Removals, and Clearing.
5. Earthwork and Grading.
6. Stormwater System installation.
7. Water Supply connections.
8. Electrical systems including Lightning Protection, Communications, and Security.
9. Lighting installations.
10. Construction of a Fueling System Concrete Slab.
11. Installation of Fueling System Tanks and Canopy.
12. Fuel Management System (with an allowance of $60,000).
13. Concrete Sidewalks and Stairs.
14. Pavement and Curbing work.
15. Chain Link Fencing with Gate and Bollards.
16. Topsoil, Seeding, and Mulching for landscaping purposes.

Period of Performance
The contract period begins no later than March 3, 2025, with substantial completion expected by June 6, 2025, followed by final cleanup by June 27, 2025.

All work will be performed at the Enfield Central Town Fueling Depot located at 40 Moody Road, Enfield CT 06082.
