Danbury Public Schools - REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOOD SERVICE MANAGEMENT COMPANY

Background
The Danbury Public School District is seeking proposals for a Food Service Management Contract to oversee the operations of their Child Nutrition Program.
The contract aims to ensure compliance with USDA (U.S. Department of Agriculture) and CSDE (Connecticut State Department of Education) regulations, thereby supporting the nutritional needs of students in the district.

Work Details
The selected Food Service Management Company will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Child Nutrition Program, which includes meal planning, food preparation, service delivery, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
The contractor must ensure that all meals meet nutritional standards set forth by the USDA and CSDE.
Additionally, the contractor will be required to maintain accurate records and provide reports as needed to demonstrate compliance and performance.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from March 17, 2025, to May 1, 2025.
