Background
The Bridgeport School District (BEN: 122549), located at 45 Lyon Terrace, Bridgeport, CT 06604, is seeking proposals for broadband data services under the E-Rate program for the funding year 2026-27. The goal of this contract is to establish a point-to-point broadband data connection between two Network Operations Centers located at Harding High School and New Bassick High School in Bridgeport, CT. This initiative aims to enhance connectivity and support educational services within the district.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a point-to-point broadband data connection between Harding High School (379 Bond Street, Bridgeport, CT) and New Bassick High School (205 Broad St, Bridgeport, CT). Proposals must include:

- FROM/TO addresses, mode of delivery, bandwidth level (500 Mbps – 10 Gbps), and contract term.
- Complete cost to connect to and work with LAN.
- Incremental pricing from minimum to maximum bandwidth levels.
- All associated costs including monthly service fees, one-time construction/installation charges, and estimated taxes/fees.
- Installation/construction costs must be clearly identified separately from monthly recurring charges.
- Service availability by July 1, 2026; if unable to meet this date, vendors must provide an alternative date.
- Contracts must allow for bandwidth increases up to 40 Gbps and cancellation without penalties if a site closes.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on or after July 1, 2026, and will terminate on June 30, 2027, for recurring services. Non-recurring services may extend until September 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed in Bridgeport, Connecticut at Harding High School and New Bassick High School.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with E-Rate program rules as set forth by the FCC. They need to provide a valid Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) and FCC Registration Number. Bidders are required to have no red light status with the FCC. Proposals must include legally binding agreements for all products/services except for month-to-month arrangements. Mandatory attendance at offerors' conferences is required. All proposals must be submitted online via the Bonfire platform.
