City Of New Haven Street Sweeping Signs

Background
The Department of Public Works for the City of New Haven is seeking qualified and licensed contractors for the fabrication and installation of custom post-mounted street sweeping signs. This initiative aims to ensure residents are informed about routine street sweeping days, thereby enhancing community awareness and compliance. The project will be executed in phases, with this being Phase 1.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and workmanship to complete the project as outlined in the Scope of Work. Work will be initiated through Work Orders signed by the Director or their designee. There is no guaranteed minimum quantity of work per order; however, regular issuance of Work Orders is anticipated throughout the contract period. The contractor must utilize existing infrastructure for sign installation.

Period of Performance
The contract term is one (1) year with potential renewals at the discretion of the City.

Place of Performance
City of New Haven, Connecticut.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must be licensed and qualified. They must also comply with local hiring preferences by recruiting New Haven residents when possible. Additionally, contractors must adhere to insurance requirements as specified in the solicitation documents.
