Description

The Capital Region Development Authority ( CRDA ) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced firms interested in providing parking and traffic consultant services for the Bushnell South Development in Hartford, Connecticut. CRDA, a quasi-public agency of the State of Connecticut, is collaborating with other members of the Bushnell South Consortium - including the City of Hartford, Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts, Spinnaker Real Estate Partners, The Michaels Organization and Pennrose LLC - to develop this area as a mixed-use district, with new housing and commercial components. Meeting the parking demands of these new uses, as well as those of existing entities, will be critical to the success of the development. CRDA is therefore seeking a firm to develop a parking and traffic management and development plan consistent with the existing master plan. The new plan will address parking needs of residents, employees and visitors to the area, as well as traffic issues.
