ADA Concrete Sidewalks and Ramps

Background
The State of Connecticut, through the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) and in collaboration with the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT), is committed to ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This solicitation aims to procure qualified contractors for the installation of ADA-compliant concrete sidewalks and ramps across the state, enhancing accessibility for individuals with disabilities.

Work Details
Contractors will provide complete in-place installation services for ADA Sidewalk and Ramp projects. The work includes but is not limited to:

- Preparing the site
- Pouring concrete
- Constructing sidewalks and ramps that meet ADA specifications
- Ensuring proper drainage
- Adhering to all relevant safety and quality standards.

The contract may involve multiple awards per CTDOT Maintenance District to ensure adequate coverage and timely service fulfillment.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence on July 25, 2025, and conclude on August 14, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed across various locations within the State of Connecticut as specified in individual project orders.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific qualifications outlined in Exhibit A of Contract #25PSX0216. They must also provide references from organizations that can attest to their past performance in similar projects. Additionally, contractors must hold any necessary licenses or certifications relevant to the work required under this contract.
