Description

This contract is to provide road reconstruction, milling and/or bituminous concrete overlays of various streets in the City of Norwich. Other work shall include maintenance and protection of traffic, resetting catch basin tops, lower and raise manholes as needed, tack coating, repair of driveways, installation of bituminous concrete curbing, loam and seeding, removal of concrete roadway, removal of concrete driveway aprons, dust control and restoration of pavement markings.
Background
The City of Norwich is issuing this contract for the 2025 Pavement Rehabilitation project, aimed at improving the road infrastructure within the city. The goal is to enhance the safety and usability of various streets through comprehensive reconstruction and maintenance efforts.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Road reconstruction
- Milling and/or bituminous concrete overlays on various streets
- Maintenance and protection of traffic during construction
- Resetting catch basin tops
- Lowering and raising manholes as needed
- Applying tack coating
- Repairing driveways
- Installing bituminous concrete curbing
- Loaming and seeding
- Removing concrete roadways and driveway aprons
