Description

It is the intent of the City for the Successful Proposer to furnish all labor, services, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and incidentals necessary to execute and properly finish the Project, as detailed and described herein. The City will be milling and paving roads in various parts of the City along with incidental related work including minor drainage improvements, replacement of traffic signal loop detectors on Colonial Avenue, concrete sidewalks and ADA compliant pedestrian ramps. Background
The City of Waterbury is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the 2025 Milling and Paving Program.

The goal of this contract is to enhance the infrastructure within the city by milling and paving roads, which aligns with the city's mission to maintain and improve public roadways and facilities.

Work Details
The Successful Proposer will be required to furnish all labor, services, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary to execute and properly finish the project.

The scope of work includes:
- Milling and paving roads in various parts of the City;
- Performing incidental related work such as minor drainage improvements;
- Replacing traffic signal loop detectors on Colonial Avenue;
- Constructing concrete sidewalks;
- Installing ADA compliant pedestrian ramps.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on February 21, 2025, and is expected to conclude by March 11, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in various locations throughout the City of Waterbury.
