2024 Milling and Paving Program

Background
The City of Waterbury has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the 2024 Milling and Paving Program. The purpose of this contract is to mill and pave roads in various parts of the city, along with related work such as minor drainage improvements, replacement of traffic signal loop detectors, concrete sidewalks, and ADA compliant pedestrian ramps.
Additionally, there may be milling and paving work at municipal parking lots located at Jefferson Square 185 South Main Street and Waterbury Industrial Commons, 1875 Thomaston Avenue.

Work Details
The Successful Proposer is expected to provide all labor, services, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary to execute and properly finish the Project. The specific tasks include milling and paving roads, minor drainage improvements, replacement of traffic signal loop detectors, construction of concrete sidewalks and ADA compliant pedestrian ramps.
The work may also involve milling and paving municipal parking lots at specified locations.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from February 14, 2024, to March 06, 2024.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in various parts of the City of Waterbury including specific locations such as Jefferson Square 185 South Main Street and Waterbury Industrial Commons, 1875 Thomaston Avenue.
