Background
The State of Colorado, through the Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC), is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for a Radiology Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). The current system, Merge eFilm, has reached its end-of-life and poses risks such as data loss and lack of support. The goal is to gather information from companies that supply and support radiological picture imaging storage and communication systems to develop a scope of work for a future solicitation that meets the department's needs.

Work Details
The RFI seeks information on potential solutions for replacing or upgrading the existing PACS. The new system should provide improved access, workflow, and data security for radiological images. Specific requirements include:
- Compatibility with AGFA Musica version NX 22.00 installed on nine Computer Radiography (CR) workstations.
- Ability to migrate existing studies from the eFilm Workstation version 4.3.
- Integration with external providers via CDOC VPN.
- Image archiving, management, and visualization tools.
- Compliance with HIPAA regulations for secure data transmission.
- Support for approximately 10,000 X-rays performed annually across nine facilities.
- Disaster recovery services and operational maintenance with 24/7 support.
