TGYS FY26 YCP (1-year Award)

Background
The Colorado Department of Human Services is issuing the Tony Grampsas Youth Services (TGYS) Program Youth and Community Partnership Annual Grant. This grant aims to support initiatives that enhance youth and community engagement, particularly focusing on addressing issues such as youth crime, violence prevention, and promoting positive youth development.

The program emphasizes equity and inclusion, ensuring that all individuals have the opportunity to thrive regardless of their background or circumstances.

Work Details
The grant will fund various initiatives under the Youth and Community Partnership Grant, including but not limited to:
- Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs Prevention (ATODP) programs.
- Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention (CANP) services.
- Development of evidence-based curricula for youth engagement.
- Direct services provided to children, youth, or families by professionals.
- Positive Youth Development (PYD) initiatives that foster constructive relationships among youth and their communities.
- Strategies for preventing student dropout (SDOP) and promoting healthy relationships through mentoring programs.
- Support for community-led initiatives that involve youth in planning, implementation, budgeting, and evaluation processes.

Period of Performance
The contract is set for a one-year award period starting from January 21, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within Colorado, specifically targeting local governments, public or non-profit schools including charter schools, groups of public or non-profit schools, school districts or groups of school districts.
