Solicitation for CLINICAL STAT LAB, DIAGNOSTIC TESTING

Background
The Colorado Mental Health Hospitals (CMHH) Laboratories are seeking a vendor to provide scheduled laboratory specimen pick-up and result delivery. The goal of this contract is to ensure reliable and accurate diagnostic laboratory testing services for the Colorado Mental Health Hospital locations in Pueblo and Fort Logan, Colorado. The vendor must be a licensed and accredited facility under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) of 1988.

Work Details
The vendor will provide the following services:

1. Scheduled specimen pick-up and result delivery 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
2. Availability of STAT testing with prioritized processing and reporting.
3. Comprehensive diagnostic testing as outlined in Exhibit B, including but not limited to Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and various reference tests.
4. Quality assurance measures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
5. Specimen collection supplies including needles, tubes, labels, requisition forms, and biohazard bags.
6. Timely reporting of test results within specified turnaround times: STAT results within 4 hours and routine results within 24 hours.
7. Communication protocols for critical value notifications to healthcare providers.

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to start on July 1, 2026, with an initial term of one year plus four optional one-year renewals.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Colorado Mental Health Hospital in Pueblo (1600 W. 24th Pueblo, CO 81003) and the Colorado Mental Health Hospital in Fort Logan (3520 W. Oxford, Denver, CO 80236).

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be qualified as a licensed and accredited facility under CLIA regulations. They must also comply with HIPAA regulations regarding data safety and provide on-shore data storage. Additionally, vendors must submit a completed Signature Page along with their proposal.
