Background
The Colorado Department of Education (CDE) is seeking proposals from experienced organizations to serve as an Instructional Transformation support partner under the School Transformation Grant (STG) program. The goal is to provide research-based services that enhance leadership development, educator professional development, and instructional transformation support for schools and districts in Colorado. CDE aims to improve student achievement across its 178 school districts and approximately 911,500 public school students.
Work Details
The contractor will deliver a range of services including:
1. Leadership development and coaching for school leaders.
2. Professional development sessions tailored to the needs of educators at various levels (Universal, Targeted, and Intensive support).
3. Conducting diagnostic reviews to assess strengths and challenges in schools, focusing on instructional transformation.
4. Providing individualized coaching sessions based on the diagnostic review findings.
5. Developing a Work Approach Plan that outlines the methodology for executing the requirements of this project, including timelines and deliverables.
6. Creating an Individualized School Work Approach Plan for schools designated as Intensive or Targeted, detailing tailored support strategies.
Period of Performance
The initial contract period is anticipated to begin on July 1, 2026, and end on June 30, 2027, with options for four additional one-year renewals based on performance and funding availability.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed across various locations within Colorado as determined by the needs of participating schools and districts.
