Background
Red Rocks Community College (RRCC), established in 1969, is located on a 135-acre site in Lakewood, Colorado, and serves over 15,000 students annually. The college aims to meet diverse educational needs through innovative programs.

RRCC is seeking to develop a new Facilities Master Plan to align with current needs and guidelines set by the Colorado Commission on Higher Education and the Colorado Department of Higher Education. The updated plan is expected to be finalized by spring 2025.

Work Details
The selected Architect/Engineer/Consultant (A/E/C) will prepare a ten-year Facilities Master Plan and update facility audits for both Lakewood and Arvada campuses. Key tasks include:
1. Generating a completed Plan that meets CCHE requirements.
2. Analyzing existing space needs, facility condition index, and ADA accessibility.
3. Considering projected enrollments, program sizes, growth trends, technology use, and potential conversion of existing spaces.
4. Addressing spatial relationships and architectural compatibility for future buildings.
5. Reviewing existing site drainage features, utility infrastructure, traffic and parking relationships.
6. Engaging regularly with the Design Committee to define college needs and make necessary revisions throughout the approval process.

Period of Performance
The project is anticipated to be completed by June 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Red Rocks Community College's Lakewood and Arvada campuses in Colorado.
