Description

Pilatus PC-12 and King Air B200 Training
Background
The Colorado Department of Public Safety, specifically the Colorado State Patrol Aircraft Unit, is seeking to establish a multi-year pricing agreement for flight training services for the Pilatus PC-12 and King Air B200 aircraft. The goal of this solicitation is to ensure that the Colorado State Patrol has access to necessary pilot training resources that meet their operational needs.

Work Details
The awarded contractor will provide full-motion simulator (level D) training for both the Pilatus PC-12 NG with Honeywell Primus Apex avionics and the Beechcraft King Air 200 with Garmin G-1000 avionics. Specific requirements include:

- Initial and recurrent training for pilots on both aircraft types.
- A minimum of 4 pilot training slots available for the PC-12 in October 2026.
- A minimum of 4 pilot training slots available for the King Air in March 2026 and March 2027.
- Training facilities must be located within 600 driving miles from Denver, CO.
- All secured training slots must be interchangeable between the two aircraft types without penalty for unused slots.
- Pricing provided will serve as a guaranteed price should the Colorado State Patrol choose to utilize these training services.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of the contract is two years, starting from July 8, 2025.

Place of Performance
Training services are expected to be performed at a location within 600 driving miles from Denver, Colorado.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate compliance with accessibility standards as per HB21-1110 by providing either an independent third-party evaluation or a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT).
