Background
The State of Colorado, Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, is issuing a solicitation for bids to install an emergency generator at Buckley Space Force Base (SFB) Building 1000. This facility supports the Colorado Army National Guard (COARNG) Aviation Readiness Center, which is crucial for aviation, medical, and civil support operations. Work Details
The project involves the installation of a pad-mounted standby power generator that meets the electrical load requirements of the facility. The generator will be diesel-powered and include a fuel storage tank and an automatic transfer switch. Surge protection will be installed to safeguard the building's electrical circuits and equipment.

The contractor must coordinate with building administrative leadership and perform work from Tuesday to Friday between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM while ensuring that the facility remains operational during construction. Full Construction Contracting Services are required throughout the construction process and warranty period. Specific tasks include adhering to provided drawings, specifications, and supporting documents.
