LED Lighting Installation

Background
The Colorado Department of Corrections is issuing this Documented Quote for LED Lighting Installation, DQ 2025000452. The goal of this contract is to upgrade the lighting at four different locations within the East Canon Complex, ensuring compliance with state standards and improving energy efficiency.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for modifying existing interior lighting fixtures to LED lamps, replacing outdoor lighting fixtures, and disposing of old fixtures and lighting.

The Colorado Department of Corrections will provide most of the fixtures, LED lamps, and sockets for three locations. The contractor must supply the fixtures, LED lamps, and sockets for the Metal Shop. Proposals should include costs for labor and materials needed for installation at three locations and costs for fixtures, lamps, and sockets with installation for the Metal Shop.

The specific locations include:
1) Fremont Canteen;
2) Leather Shop;
3) Metal Shop;
4) Building 97.

All locations are situated at 57500 East Hwy 50 and Evans Rd, Canon City, CO 81212. All work must be completed by June 30, 2025.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of the contract is a one-time purchase with all work required to be completed by June 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at the Fremont Correctional Facility located at 57500 East Hwy 50 and Evans Rd, Canon City, CO 81212.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must attend a mandatory site visit scheduled for April 21, 2025. They are required to submit a Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) (W-9) prior to award from the Colorado Department of Corrections. Additionally, bidders must comply with accessibility requirements as per state standards and provide proof of insurance coverage as required by the contract terms.
