Leadcare II Blood Lead Analyzers

Background
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) is responsible for conducting research and testing to protect and improve the health of its citizens.

The Colorado Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (CCLPPP) aims to eliminate lead poisoning in children, which can have lifelong effects on brain growth, learning, and behavior. The program conducts screenings and follow-up care to prevent lead exposure, particularly in vulnerable populations such as young children.

This Invitation for Bid (IFB) seeks competitive quotations for LeadCare II Blood Lead Analyzers and reagent test kits from Meridian Bioscience, as this is a sole brand solicitation.

Work Details
The contract involves the procurement of 20 LeadCare II Blood Lead Analyzers and associated reagent test kits.

The analyzers must meet specific specifications outlined in Exhibit C of the solicitation. Each bid must include unit pricing that covers one analyzer, one test kit, and shipping costs. Additionally, bidders must ensure they can deliver test kit orders within five days of order placement and maintain a minimum shelf life of six months for the kits. A minimum of ten analyzers must be delivered by June 30, 2025.

Period of Performance
The initial term for this project is from May 19, 2025, to June 30, 2026.

There is an option for renewal at the discretion of CDPHE for up to five years based on funding availability and vendor performance.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to locations specified by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment within Colorado.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must manufacture or sell LeadCare II analyzers that meet all specifications in Exhibit C. They must also provide a company overview detailing their experience with these instruments.

Bidders are required to submit a detailed quote including pricing for the analyzer and test kits along with Attachment 1: Vendor Information/Confirmation of Offer form.
