Background
Lamar Community College, located in Prowers County, Colorado, is undertaking a pavement rehabilitation project across its campus. The project aims to enhance the safety and functionality of parking lots and access roads, covering approximately 10 acres of the 109-acre campus. The goal is to mill and resurface selected areas while also improving lighting and pavement markings.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Milling and resurfacing existing selective parking lot paving.
- Crack sealing, seal coating, and striping of parking lots.
- Installation of additional lighting to enhance safety in parking areas.
- Specific tasks include removing existing wheel stops, storing them during construction, and resetting them post-paving. Damaged stops will be replaced with new ones as per the plans.
- New pavement markings will be applied to match existing locations unless otherwise noted.
- The project consists of four add alternates that may involve complete road replacements.

Period of Performance
The anticipated construction start date is November 3, 2025, with an expected completion date of April 1, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Lamar Community College located at 2401 S Main St., Lamar, CO 81052.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have been in business under the same name for at least two years and demonstrate experience with similar projects exceeding $1 million in hard costs. They must also provide bonding capability up to $3 million for individual projects. Preference will be given to Colorado resident bidders and laborers.
