Background
The Colorado Department of Human Services is issuing a contract for the replacement of bleachers at the Ridge View Youth Services Center football field, which were destroyed during a storm on June 26, 2023. The project aims to restore the facility's functionality and ensure compliance with state regulations, including accessibility standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for removing the existing damaged bleachers and installing new galvanized steel elevated angle frame bleachers. The specifications include:

- Removal of twisted and damaged bleachers from the football field.
- Installation of galvanized steel elevated angle frame bleachers with a gross seating capacity of 1,040 and a net seating capacity of 876, consisting of 15 rows and measuring 104 feet in length.
- The structure will include a steel substructure and decking system, with specific requirements for live loads, sway loads, wind loads, guardrails, handrails, stairs, and accessibility features compliant with ADA regulations.
- The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, shop drawings sealed by a licensed professional engineer, insurance certificates, and color samples as part of the project deliverables.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract start date is September 1, 2024. The timeline for completion will be specified in the contract documents following the notice to proceed.
