Gravel Ponds Water Sports Access

Background
The Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife is issuing a solicitation for the Chatfield State Park South Gravel Pond Water Sports Access Project. The project aims to enhance water sports access at Chatfield State Park, which is part of the agency's mission to provide recreational opportunities while ensuring environmental protection.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to complete the project within 135 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Key tasks include:

12. Soil Riprap placement (54 CY)
13. Large Precast Concrete Block Retaining Wall (104 LF)
14. Small Precast Concrete Block Retaining Wall (682 LF)
15. ADA Concrete Ramp with Retaining Walls (68 LF)
16. 6’ Wide Concrete Trail (54 LF)
17. 6” Thick Reinforced Concrete Flatwork (3900 SF)
18. 1 ½” Round River Rock (12 CY)
19. Sand (8 CY)
20. Willow Staking (51 EA)
21. Seeding and Mulching (0.5 AC)
22. Massive Rail Fence (160 LF)
23-25: Equipment rental for Excavator, Loader, and Trucking for additional work as needed.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is set for 135 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, with substantial completion tentatively scheduled for April 15, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Chatfield State Park located at 11500 N Roxborough Park Road, Littleton, CO 80125 in Jefferson County.
