Grant Funded Hazmat Material Emergency Training
Background
The Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control (CDFPC) is seeking qualified Offerors to coordinate logistics and delivery of hazardous materials training courses. The agency is responsible for the coordination and delivery of Hazardous Materials training in Colorado, aimed at Fire, Law Enforcement, Public Health, Hazardous Material Teams, EMS, and other public response agencies. The number of classes offered annually depends on funding from the Hazardous Materials Emergency Planning (HMEP) grant or directly from CDFPC.

Work Details
The Offeror will provide the following hazardous materials courses:

1. **Eighty (80)-hour Hazardous Materials Technician Level course** for 25 students compliant with NFPA Standard 470.
2. **Sixteen (16)-hour Hazardous Materials Air Monitoring** compliant with NFPA Standard 470.
3. **Sixteen (16)-hour Hazardous Materials Safety Officer** compliant with NFPA Standard 470.
4. **Forty (40)-hour Hazardous Materials Highway Specialist** compliant with NFPA Standard 470.

The Offeror must provide logistical support including qualified instructors, course props, student materials, and all necessary equipment for practical exercises. Specific equipment required includes simulators for various MC/DOT models, air monitoring equipment, chlorine kits, decontamination setup materials, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Additionally, the Offeror must ensure that all student manuals meet current NFPA standards.

Period of Performance
The delivery of the courses will occur between March 1, 2025, and September 30, 2025.

Location of work will be determined.
