Background
The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) is issuing a solicitation for the replacement of a water booster pump at the Centennial Correctional Facility, located within the East Canon City Prison Complex.
This facility is active, and all work must be coordinated with facility staff to ensure security and operational continuity.
The existing booster pump skid has reached the end of its service life, necessitating its removal and replacement.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the complete supply and installation of a new water booster skid.
This includes:
1) removing and disposing of the existing skid;
2) installing the new skid;
3) ensuring that system shutdowns for installation occur only between 2000 PM and 0400 AM;
4) adhering to service conditions as detailed in project drawings;
5) coordinating all work with facility staff due to the nature of the correctional environment.
The contractor must have completed at least three projects of similar scope or complexity within the last three years, each exceeding $100,000.

Period of Performance
The anticipated start date for the contract is as soon as possible after award, with a requirement for full completion by June 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
Centennial Correctional Facility, East Canon City Prison Complex, Canon City, Colorado.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit consent to search forms by March 31, 2025.
Preference will be given to Colorado resident bidders and those using Colorado labor.
A bid bond of at least 5% is required if the construction value exceeds $50,000.
Bidders must also be registered in CORE before contract award.
