Crystal River SFU - New Production Well, Pump and Equip.

Background
The Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife is issuing a solicitation for the construction of a new production well at Crystal River State Fish Hatchery Unit (SFU).
The project aims to enhance water supply capabilities for the facility, which is crucial for its operations.
The contract will involve drilling a well approximately 100 feet deep and includes the installation of a pump and ancillary equipment necessary for water management.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Drilling and constructing an approximate 100 feet deep new production well.
2. Furnishing and installing a 20-inch diameter steel casing, 12-inch diameter steel well casing, and 12-inch diameter stainless steel screen.
3. Installing a 10-inch diameter turbine pump and motor along with necessary electrical components.
4. Performing well development and pump testing.
5. Installing various fittings including check valves, air release/vacuum valves, ductile iron fittings, PVC fittings, flowmeters, and butterfly valves as specified in the bid schedule.
6. Mobilization of personnel, equipment, and materials to the site as per project requirements.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be completed within 180 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, with substantial completion tentatively scheduled for October 16, 2025.

Place of Performance
The project will take place at Crystal River SFU located at 2957 CO-133, Carbondale, CO 81623 in Garfield County, Colorado.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a five-percent (5%) bid bond for proposals exceeding $50,000.00.
Additionally, bidders must certify that at least 80% of the labor used on this public works project will be Colorado labor if the contract exceeds $500,000.00.
Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) may claim a 5% bid preference but must provide appropriate certification.
