Work Details
The selected consultant will provide economic development services that include: conducting market research and analysis to identify economic trends; developing and implementing economic development strategies; assisting in the attraction and retention of businesses; facilitating public-private partnerships; providing technical assistance to local businesses; identifying funding sources for projects; preparing reports and presentations; engaging with community stakeholders; strategic marketing to promote Pueblo's economic identity; business recruitment activities including managing a pipeline of prospects; conducting financial analyses for potential businesses; developing incentive packages for job creation; implementing outreach programs for existing businesses to assess their needs.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award with an initial term of one year, with possible renewal periods as agreed upon by the City and Consultant.

Services will be performed within the City of Pueblo, Colorado.
Bidder Requirements
Proposers must have at least 5 years of experience in economic development or related fields, a proven track record of successful projects, strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, knowledge of economic trends, relevant educational background, and necessary licenses to operate within the City.
