Colorado Perinatal Care Quality Collaborative(CPCQC)

Background
The Colorado Perinatal Care Quality Collaborative (CPCQC) is the vendor for the project named Maternal Mortality Prevention Program (MMPP). The project has multiple maternal health-related components funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and state general fund. CPCQC is responsible for implementing Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM) patient safety bundles in birthing hospitals, providing technical assistance, training, and coaching to enrolled facilities, supporting the implementation of the Care for Pregnant and Postpartum People with Substance Use Disorders AIM patient safety bundle, enhancing data collection and workforce capacity, and tracking the implementation of Maternal Mortality Review Committee (MMRC) recommendations.

Work Details
The products and services to be procured include:
- The implementation of AIM patient safety bundles in birthing hospitals
- Support for quality improvement initiatives of CPCQC
- Implementation of maternal health patient safety bundles
- Infrastructure enhancement for AIM data collection
- Workforce strengthening for AIM data analysis and reporting
- Data collection and use of race, ethnicity, and social determinants to assess program impact on health equity and disparities
- Tracking MMRC recommendations.

Period of Performance
The contract with CPCQC has been in place since February 2020 and will expire on September 29th, 2024. The new contract term will start on September 30th, 2024, and end on September 29th, 2029. The estimated dollar amount for the project over five years is $5,975,000.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in birthing hospitals across the state of Colorado.
