CCCS RFP 25-006 Online Tutoring

Background
The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide online tutoring services for students enrolled in CO Online courses. CO Online is a consortium that allows students at any of the 13 colleges within the CCCS to enroll in online courses offered by other colleges in the system. The goal of this contract is to enhance student success through accessible and comprehensive tutoring services across various disciplines, including writing, math, science, and business.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide 24/7 live (synchronous) and asynchronous tutoring services tailored to college-level curricula across multiple disciplines. Key deliverables include:
- A virtual online writing lab for paper critiques returned within 24 hours.
- Tutoring for various writing assignments including essays, grammar reviews, nursing essays, resumes, and cover letters.
- ADA-compliant services including toll-free support for visually impaired students, audio tutoring options, and live captioning.
- Integration with D2L Brightspace for seamless access.
- All tutors must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in their subject area, with 90% holding graduate degrees.
- Confidentiality of all live tutoring sessions to comply with FERPA regulations.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is anticipated to begin on December 15, 2024, and end on December 14, 2025. The contract may be renewed for up to four additional one-year periods at the discretion of the State.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed online; however, training sessions for faculty and staff may occur at the Lowry Campus in Denver, Colorado.
