CCCS IFB 25-020 Repave Parking Lots- Buildings 959, 849, 957

Background
The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the repaving of parking lots at Buildings 959, 849, and 967. The estimated construction cost for this project is $440,247. The goal of the contract is to enhance the functionality and safety of the parking facilities through comprehensive renovations.

Work Details
The project involves the following tasks:
- Removal of existing parking lot surfaces
- Portions of curb and gutter
- Installation of a new parking lot, drain pans, curb and gutter
- Removal of concrete sidewalk, concrete curb and gutter, and asphalt mat
- Adjusting water valve height
- Laying aggregate base course
- Pouring asphalt
- Pouring gutter and curb
- Marking for traffic control.

The entire project must be substantially complete within 105 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Specific completion deadlines are set for each building: Building 849 must start no earlier than May 15, 2025, and be completed by August 15, 2025; Buildings 959 and 967 must be completed by September 15, 2025.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate general contracting experience with at least two projects over $450,000 in the last three years. They must show bonding capability up to $450,000 for an individual project. Compliance with the Buy Clean Colorado Act is required for projects over $500,000. Preference will be given to Colorado resident bidders and labor.
