Camp George West Janitorial Services

Background
The Colorado Department of Public Safety (CDPS) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit contractors for janitorial services at Camp George West. The mission of CDPS is to enhance public safety and ensure the well-being of Colorado residents. This contract aims to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at the facility, supporting the overall operational effectiveness of the State Patrol.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive janitorial services as outlined in Exhibit A - Statement of Work. This includes but is not limited to:

- Daily cleaning of restrooms, offices, and common areas
- Trash removal
- Floor care including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Window cleaning
- Periodic deep cleaning tasks as specified.

The contractor must ensure that all cleaning supplies used are environmentally friendly and comply with applicable regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon approval by the State Controller and will be effective for an initial term of one year. There are options to renew for up to four additional one-year periods, not exceeding a total of five years.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Camp George West located at 15055 S Golden Rd, Golden, CO 80401.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered and verified as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs. Additionally, bidders must submit documentation proving their SDVOSB status along with their proposal. Background checks will be required for all personnel assigned to this contract.
