Ahec-27701-R On-Call Service Providers/Small Construction

Background
The Auraria Campus, which serves multiple institutions including the Community College of Denver, Metropolitan State University of Denver, and the University of Colorado-Denver, is seeking to establish a list of pre-qualified Contractors/Service Providers for on-call small construction projects.

The goal is to facilitate various trade services for projects ranging from $50,000 to $500,000. This initiative aims to ensure that selected contractors can effectively execute construction projects in occupied educational environments without disrupting ongoing programs.

Work Details
Contractors/Service Providers will provide general contracting and maintenance services across multiple trades including:

- General Contractor - Large Projects
- General Contractor - Small Projects
- General Contractor - Historical Restoration
- Restoration & Repair
- Plumbing
- Electrical (Medium Voltage)
- Electrical (Building)
- Mechanical/HVAC
- Asbestos Abatement
- Landscape Services
- Tree Services
- Welding
- Concrete
- Case Work
- Painting
- Moving
- Roofing
- Campus Signage
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Fire Suppression Systems
- Security Camera Systems
- Access Control Systems
- Automatic Door Operator/Access Technology
- Flooring Installation
- Window & Glass Installation. The selection process will involve a pre-qualification phase based on qualifications followed by a documented quote process for specific projects. Projects will be evaluated based on their scope and budget constraints.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence on July 1, 2026 and extend through June 30, 2027. All work awarded before June 30 of each fiscal year shall continue until project completion.

Place of Performance
Work will be performed at various locations within the Auraria Campus in Denver, Colorado.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must provide proof of bonding capacity (maximum $500,000 per project), a Certificate of Insurance as per requirements outlined in the RFP attachments (including professional liability for abatement contractors), a W-9 form for tax purposes, and a Certificate of Good Standing from the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office. Additionally, contractors must comply with all applicable state and federal laws regarding non-discrimination and must have at least one employee proficient in English present during work to facilitate communication.
