Workforce Strategy Implementation Consulting Services Request For Qualifications

Background
The City of Los Angeles Economic and Workforce Development Department (EWDD) is seeking to pre-qualify consultants to provide professional workforce-related consulting services. This initiative aims to support the development of an innovative, diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce development system.

The goal is to create a Qualified List of Workforce Consultants for future projects related to various workforce development strategic plans. Inclusion on this list does not guarantee a contract but allows for potential service requests over a three-year period.

Work Details
Consultants may address one or more service categories including:

1) Industry Sector Strategies: Consultants will facilitate the implementation of sector strategies as outlined in the Five Year Workforce Development Strategic Plan.

2) Infrastructure/LAWIN: Supporting the implementation of EWDD’s LA Workforce Infrastructure Network Plan.

3) AdvantAGE LA - Older Workers: Focusing on strategies to enhance employment opportunities for older adults.

Specific tasks include conducting labor market analyses, developing career pathways, engaging with education providers, and coordinating with industry councils.

Period of Performance
The Qualified List will remain valid for three years from its finalization date. The term for specific services requested may vary based on individual project needs.

Place of Performance
Services will primarily be performed within the City of Los Angeles.
