Window Washing

Background
The Long Beach Public Utilities Department (LBPUD) is seeking quotations for window washing services to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of its facilities. The goal of the contract is to ensure that all windows at designated locations are regularly cleaned, enhancing the operational environment and aesthetic appeal of LBPUD properties. The contract will be contingent upon the availability of funds and LBPUD's needs.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all materials, tools, parts, equipment, and labor necessary for window washing services. Services include:

1. Monthly Services:
- 1800 E Wardlow: Wash interior and exterior lobby glass windows.
- 2950 Redondo: Wash sloped glass.
- 2400 E Spring: Wash interior and exterior lobby glass windows.

2. Quarterly Services:
- 1800 E Wardlow: Wash lobby glass, assembly room, lunch rooms, and building A windows; wash interior and exterior sloped windows of support buildings B, D, L, and J.
- 2950 Redondo: Wash interior and exterior lobby glass.
- 2400 E Spring: Wash interior and exterior glass for Buildings 550, 560, and 570.

3. Semi-Annual Services:
- 1800 E Wardlow: Wash miscellaneous surfaces.
- 2950 Redondo: Wash all exterior, interior, sloped, lobby glass, and miscellaneous surfaces.
- 2400 E Spring: Wash miscellaneous surfaces.

Period of Performance
The contract shall be for a term of one (1) year with services performed on a scheduled basis as outlined in the work details.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the following locations in Long Beach:
1. LBPUD Operations Service Center located at 1800 E. Wardlow Rd.
2. Groundwater Treatment Plant located at 2950 Redondo Ave.
3. LBPUD Gas Division located at 2400 E Spring St.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have been in business providing window washing services for at least three (3) years. They must be registered with Long Beach Buys to submit a bid and have a valid business license from the City of Long Beach. Additionally, bidders must comply with California wage rate requirements for public works projects.
