Wiley W. Manuel Courthouse UST Removal & AST Installation *MANDATORY EVENT*

Background
The County of Alameda General Services Agency is issuing a solicitation for Project #22113, which involves the removal of underground storage tanks (USTs) and the installation of an above-ground storage tank (AST) at the Wiley W. Manuel Courthouse located at 661 Washington Street, Oakland, California.

The project aims to enhance safety and compliance with environmental regulations regarding hazardous materials.

Work Details
The project consists of the following key tasks:
1. Removal of two existing 10,000-gallon underground storage tanks (USTs).
2. Installation of one 12,000-gallon above-ground storage tank (AST).
3. Construction of an AST enclosure.

The estimated budget for this scope of work is approximately $1,320,000.

Period of Performance
The contract duration is set for 270 calendar days, beginning on June 17, 2025, and concluding on March 14, 2026.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a Class A General Engineering license and a Hazardous Substance Removal Certification from the State of California.

Additionally, a bid bond of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price is required to accompany bids. Successful bidders will also need to provide a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond upon contract award.
