Water Treatment Plant Roof Restoration Project

Work Requested:
The City of Folsom is requesting the services of a qualified roofing contractor to restore the existing TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) roofing system at the Folsom Water Treatment Plant, located at 194 Randall Dive, Folsom, CA 95630.

The scope of work includes:

• Installation of a fluid-applied restoration system to ensure the building is secure and protected from water intrusion.
• Replacement of four (4) skylights, each measuring 4'x4'.
• Proper repair of the entire roof system to prepare it for the new roof restoration coating.
• Work will be performed on the Plant Admin and Shop roofs, covering approximately 5,500 square feet.

The contractor must ensure all work results in a complete, watertight, and warrantied roofing assembly in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. This project takes place in an occupied building, and the contractor is responsible for adhering to all safety requirements.

Background:
The Folsom Water Treatment Plant requires restoration of its existing TPO roofing system to maintain the integrity of the facility and prevent water intrusion. The project is designed to enhance the longevity and performance of the roof system for the Plant Admin and Shop buildings.

Contract Requirements:
All work must comply with the Summary of Work and specifications outlined in the project manual. The contractor is responsible for ensuring the roofing system is watertight and covered by warranty, and for maintaining safety in an occupied facility.
