Background
This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is issued by the State of California, Department of General Services, Procurement Division (DGS-PD) to cover the requirements of the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) for Water Tenders. The resulting contract will be mandatory for CAL OES. The term of the contract will be for three (3) years with two (2) extension options for a one (1) year or portion thereof.
Work Details
The contract requires all equipment offered to be new and the latest model in current production. Used, shopworn, refurbished, demonstrator, prototype, or discontinued models are not acceptable.
The contract will include one line item for a complete Water Tender unit to be purchased by the State. Bidders are required to submit technical literature annotated with applicable page, brand, model, and Contract Line-Item Number (CLIN). Bidders must also complete a Technical Questionnaire to enter product information for the proposed product.
All products offered must meet or exceed specified specifications and comply with Environmentally Preferable Purchasing (EPP) requirements. Bidders are also required to certify post-consumer recycled content and submit a pricing structure and worksheet.
Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract will be three (3) years with two (2) extension options for a one (1) year or portion thereof.
Place of Performance
The geographic locations for delivery and service centers include Riverside, CA; San Diego, CA; and within a 50-mile radius of the CAL OES Repair Facility in Sacramento, CA.
