Water Line Repair - Glendale

Background
The State of California, Office of the Adjutant General, California Military Department is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Water Line Repair project located at Glendale Armory. The goal of this contract is to ensure the repair of the water supply line in accordance with state regulations and standards.

Work Details
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits, and fees necessary for the water supply line repair at Glendale Armory. All work must comply with the terms and conditions outlined in this IFB. Specific tasks include providing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment for the water supply line repair. The prime contractor must possess a type B - General Building Contractor license or subcontract to one.

Period of Performance
The contractor will be allowed 180 calendar days to complete this project. The start date will be established by a Job Start Meeting within 7 days after receipt of the fully executed contract and issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Glendale Armory, located at 220 Colorado Ave, Glendale, CA 91205.

Bidder Requirements
Prospective bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid job walk on 5/27/2025 at 10:00 AM and sign in prior to its start. Bidders must comply with federal identification requirements when accessing federal facilities. A minimum of 5% of the work must be subcontracted to certified Disabled Veterans Business Enterprises (DVBE) unless the prime contractor is a DVBE. All bidders must possess a valid California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) license and provide proof of insurance and bonding as specified.
