Bidders must possess a current Class 'A' General Contractor's license issued by the State of California at the time of bid submission. All bidders and subcontractors must be registered with the California State Department of Industrial Relations prior to submitting a bid. A Bid Security in the form of a cashier’s check or Bid bond executed on prescribed forms is required in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price payable to the City. The successful bidder will also need to furnish both a performance bond and payment bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
