Work Details
Selected Providers will deliver services that include:

2. Demonstrations, Short-Term Loans (STLs), and Training: Maintain demonstration SGDs tablets preloaded with seven VOP applications, provide STL devices for trial periods, and conduct training on accessibility features and application use.
3. Long-Term Loan (LTL) Issuance: Provide LTL devices such as new iPads or Androids with one selected VOP application.
4. Apple and Google App Store Account & Gift Codes: Maintain accounts to purchase redeemable gift codes for approved apps and submit receipts for reimbursement.
5. Documentation & Records: Complete necessary applications and surveys for each issued device, retaining records for seven years post-grant period.
6. Outreach & Referral: Conduct outreach to connect individuals with California Connect and Voice Options programs.
Allowable costs include personnel time for demonstrations, travel expenses not exceeding CalHR rates, equipment purchases such as new tablets or protective equipment, and shipping costs up to $100 per SGD tablet.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2026, or upon DOR approval, whichever date is later, and will continue through the specified grant term.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed across various locations in California as designated by the awarded regions.
