Vmus Gas Improvement Project Phase 5

Background
The City of Victorville is issuing a solicitation for the VMUS Gas Improvement Project - Phase 5, Project No. CC26-008. This project aims to enhance the natural gas infrastructure within the Southern California Logistics Airport area, aligning with the city's commitment to improving public utilities and services.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Installation of approximately 1,020 feet of 2” PE natural gas main.
- Installation of approximately 85 feet of 3” poly sleeve around the 2” PE natural gas pipe.
- Various trench and pavement repairs.
- Boring under concrete and asphalt pavement.
- Approximately 20 square feet of concrete sidewalk repair.
- Retrofit of one gas meter with a new orifice (to be performed by VMUS).

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be completed within ten (10) working days from the commencement date as specified in the contract documents.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Southern California Logistics Airport (SCLA), located in Victorville, California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must hold a valid CLASS A or C-34 California Contractor’s License at the time of bid submission. Additionally, all contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) to perform public work. Bidders are required to provide proof of individual operator qualifications per DOT Qualification Program requirements.
