Vehicle Towing and Secure Storage Services

Work Requested:
The City of Lancaster is seeking proposals from qualified tow operators to provide the following services:

• Rotational towing services for the removal of vehicles from the public right-of-way ("Off-Site Vehicle Removal")
• Removal of inoperative or unregistered vehicles from private property ("Vehicle Abatement Services")
• Towing services for City-owned and/or City-operated vehicles

Off-Site Vehicle Removal and Vehicle Abatement Services must be performed at no cost or charge to the City.

Who is Requesting:
This solicitation is issued by the City of Lancaster.

Background:
The City intends to enter into an agreement with selected tow operators for the provision of the above services. The agreement will formalize the terms under which rotational towing and vehicle abatement services will be provided within the City.

Contract Requirements:
Tow operators must comply with all terms, conditions, rules, and regulations specified in the Towing Services Agreement (TSA), attached as Attachment C. Compliance with the TSA is mandatory for the entire duration of participation in the City's rotational towing services program.
