Underground Storage Tank

Background
The County of Los Angeles is issuing a solicitation for the provision of services related to Underground Storage Tanks. The goal of this contract is to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards pertaining to underground storage tanks, which are critical for the protection of public health and the environment.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Installation, maintenance, and inspection of underground storage tanks.
2. Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding underground storage tanks.
3. Submission of required documentation including but not limited to:
- Declaration Form
- Proposer’s Organization Questionnaire/Affidavit
- Proposer’s Certification of Compliance
- Request for Preference Consideration
- Commercially Useful Function Certification Form
- Community Business Enterprise (CBE) Information in Excel format
- Prevailing Wage documentation.
4. Adherence to prevailing wage laws as defined by the California Labor Code, including maintaining accurate work records and posting wage rates at job sites.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a specified period as determined by the County, typically ranging from several months to a few years depending on project scope and requirements.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of Los Angeles County, California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific certifications including but not limited to: M/WBE (Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprise) and DVBE (Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise). Bidders must provide proof of registration with the California Department of Industrial Relations for public works projects. Additionally, bidders must submit a valid California Seller's Permit number or Certificate of Registration for Use Tax.
