Unarmed Response Call and Dispatch Center Software Platform

Background
The Mayor’s Office of Community Safety (MOCS) administers the Crisis and Incident Response through Community-Led Engagement (CIRCLE), a 24/7 program aimed at deploying unarmed civilian responders to address low-risk 911 incidents related to unhoused Angelenos.

The goal of this contract is to develop a dispatch software platform that will enable CIRCLE to effectively receive and manage non-violent 911 calls across the City of Los Angeles.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for developing a comprehensive dispatch software platform for the CIRCLE program. This includes:
1. Designing an interface for receiving non-violent 911 calls.
2. Implementing features for managing call data, including tracking and reporting capabilities.
3. Ensuring integration with existing city emergency response systems.
4. Providing training and support for CIRCLE personnel on how to use the new system effectively.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 12 months from the date of award, with specific milestones and deliverables outlined in the project timeline.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the City of Los Angeles, with potential remote work options as necessary.
