TVRWRF Sidestream Treatment Facility

Background
The Temecula Valley Regional Water Reclamation Facility (TVRWRF) is managed by the Eastern Municipal Water District. The goal of this contract is to construct a sidestream treatment facility that enhances the facility's wastewater treatment capabilities. This project aims to improve operational efficiency and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform the construction of a sidestream treatment facility at TVRWRF, which includes:

1. Construction of one centrate transfer pump station.
2. Construction of a sidestream treatment facility consisting of equalization and reactor tanks along with associated equipment.
3. Construction of a sidestream service building, which will include new blowers, chemical dosing facilities, interconnecting piping, electrical equipment, ductbanks, and civil improvements such as paving and grading.
4. Modifications to existing drain lines at the sludge dewatering building and dewatering equipment to convey wastewater separately from belt press filtrate, including the installation of an antiscalant chemical system.
5. Improvements and modifications to associated electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
6. Control integration services by a qualified integrator.
7. Demolition, repair, and reconstruction of existing improvements affected by the work to ensure the facility is complete and operational.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period that extends until all construction activities are completed satisfactorily as per the project timeline outlined in the contract documents.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Temecula Valley Regional Water Reclamation Facility located at 42565 Avenida Alvarado, Temecula, California, 92590.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific requirements including but not limited to: providing proof of insurance; contractor's licensing statement; non-collusion declaration; performance bond; payment bond; and public works contractor registration.
