Background
The City of Culver City Transportation Department is seeking proposals from firms to provide services for the development of a new comprehensive facility plan for the Transportation Facility located at 4343 Duquesne Ave in Culver City. The final plan will include a validated asset equipment listing by zone, an assessment of each item (identifying those critical assets requiring maintenance), detailed work orders, a balanced maintenance work order plan over a 52-week period, and a capital rehab/replacement plan.
The selected firm will be responsible for providing services in accordance with the scope of services outlined in the proposal.
Work Details
The Transportation Facility was completed during the Summer of 1999 and includes four buildings: Administrative Building, Maintenance Building, Parking Garage, and Fuel Island. The project requirements include conducting an asset inventory consistent with FTA’s Asset Inventory Model (AIM), performing an assessment of the assets based on FTA's Transit Economic Requirements Model (TERM), re-working current work order maintenance within MaintStar, developing a 52-week maintenance schedule, and creating a capital rehabilitation/replacement plan for all critical assets including the building and all its components.
Period of Performance
The project is scheduled to start on August 1, 2020 with an estimated completion date for the final report by October 15, 2020.
