Background
The County of Sacramento, Department of Health Services, Division of Public Health, Perinatal Equity Initiative Program (PEI) is seeking a qualified organization to implement a Fatherhood Program known as The Dad Brand. This program was developed by a father for fathers to address the specific needs and challenges men face during pregnancy and postpartum. The initiative aims to provide advocacy, empowerment, and support to fathers, thereby improving birth outcomes and reducing disparities in infant mortality rates among Black families.

Work Details
The selected organization will implement the Dad Brand Fatherhood Program which includes the following components:

1. **Weekly Group Sessions**: Facilitate weekly 2-hour sessions with 10-20 fathers focusing on pregnancy, postpartum health, and infant care. Topics include emotional support for partners, postpartum mental wellness resources, infant care essentials, and the role of fathers in early childhood development.

2. **Bi-Monthly Community Events**: Organize two community-building events per month such as father-and-baby stroller walks and fitness meetups.

3. **Quarterly Listening Sessions**: Conduct sessions to gather feedback from participants on their needs and interests.

4. **Peer Mentoring**: Provide ongoing support and resource navigation for each father throughout their participation in the program.

The contractor must build a community of 150 unduplicated fathers per fiscal year, develop culturally grounded educational materials, collaborate with maternal health programs, and maintain regular communication with program coordinators.

Bidder Requirements
Organizations must have at least 5 years of experience working with Black communities or fatherhood-focused populations. Additionally, they must have an office located in Sacramento County and be a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
