Tender Body, Paint (Turnkey), Cab and Chassis, diesel fueled

Background
The California Department of Transportation, Division of Equipment is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the procurement of three (3) MC 05358 Tender Body, Paint (Turnkey), Cab and Chassis, diesel fueled. This acquisition is aimed at fulfilling the specifications outlined in State of California Specification 05358-230-261.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of three (3) Tender Bodies with the following specifications:

1. Quantity: 1 each for Shop 21 located at 1650 Albee Street, Eureka, CA 95501.
2. Quantity: 1 each for Shop 22 located at 1430 George Drive, Redding, CA 96003.
3. Quantity: 1 each for Shop 31 located at 7179 Opportunity Road, San Diego, CA 92111.

All items must comply with State of California Specification 05358-230-261 and include all necessary options as specified in the bid documents.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is set to begin upon acceptance of the bid and is expected to be completed within approximately 300 days after receipt of order (ARO).

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to various locations within California as specified in the work details section.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific certifications including but not limited to small business certifications, Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation requirements, and adherence to California Civil Rights Laws. Bidders are required to submit a Payee Data Record (STD. 204) and must provide their California seller’s permit or certification of registration issued by the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration.
