C5612569-D Temporary Portable Chiller Systems Rental Services

Background
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking to procure Temporary Portable Chiller Systems Rental Services for the Facility Planning, Construction and Management (FPCM) at Calipatria State Prison.
The goal of this contract is to ensure reliable cooling systems are available for the facility's operational needs.

Work Details
The Contractor shall supply, deliver, install, startup, and decommission Four (4) Portable 1,000-ton Chiller Systems (PCS). Each PCS shall consist of:
- 1,000-ton chiller
- Ten-inch (10”) flex hoses and electrical cables
- 1,000-ton cooling tower
- Water pump and associated chemicals.
The PCS must include all necessary equipment to generate cooling for CDCR at Calipatria State Prison located at 7018 Blair Road, Calipatria, CA 92233.
The Contractor is responsible for ensuring that all systems are functional and comply with federal, state, and local regulations. This includes the installation of all piping, hoses, valves, wiring, and conduit to connect the PCS to existing infrastructure.

Period of Performance
The anticipated date for commencement of services is May 16, 2025. The term end date of the agreement is May 15, 2028.
