TEC Modernization Addition

Scope of Work:
The TEC Modernization Project involves the comprehensive renovation and expansion of the existing Training Facility for bus operators and mechanics at 20234 Mack Street, Hayward, CA 94545. The primary objectives of the contract include:

• Adding 1,164 square feet of second floor area within the current building envelope.
• Constructing a new 1,350 square foot addition outside the existing structure.
• Upgrading the bus bays to hydrogen-safe standards to facilitate servicing of fuel cell buses.
• Building a new mezzanine level that connects to the expanded second floor.
• Installing canopy coverage and replacing paving at the main entrances.
• Reconfiguring the lobby, offices, classroom, and other interior spaces to support the transition to a zero-emission bus fleet.
