Task Order Construction Agreements (TO-CA) Multiple Projects - License C-10

Background
The State of California, through the Board of Trustees of the California State University, is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified General Contractors to provide Design Build and Construction Manager services for multiple projects at California State University, Dominguez Hills.

The goal is to establish a Task Order-Construction Agreement for these projects under a Master Enabling Agreement (MEA).

Work Details
The contract will involve two types of agreements: 1) a single task order for design and preconstruction phase services for an anticipated group of projects, and 2) individual project construction agreements for the construction phase.

During the design and preconstruction phase, the selected contractor will work with the Trustees on design, constructability, cost estimation, and scheduling. They will develop a Lump Sum proposal for construction. If accepted by the Trustees, a Construction Agreement will be issued. If there is no agreement on the Lump Sum, the construction phase will not be awarded.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon selection and acceptance of proposals, with specific timelines to be determined based on project requirements.
