Street Resurfacing 2025 Dempsey Road & Great Mall Parkway (PHASE II)

Background
The City of Milpitas is issuing this Invitation for Bid for the Street Resurfacing 2025 project, specifically focusing on Dempsey Road and Great Mall Parkway (Phase II).

The project aims to rehabilitate various streets within the city limits, ensuring compliance with current standards and improving infrastructure.

Work Details
The project includes the following services:
- AC digout/repair
- Grind/overlay where required
- Upgrading existing curb ramps to comply with current ADA requirements
- Curb and gutter repair
- Signing and striping
- Sidewalk repair
- Driveway repair
- Traffic signal modifications
- Adjusting utility covers to finished grade.

All work must be completed according to the plans and associated contract documents.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe that aligns with the project's requirements as specified in the contract documents.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed throughout various streets in the City of Milpitas, California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid Class A or Class C-12 contractor's license from the Contractor’s State License Board. Additionally, all contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations to perform public work.

The successful bidder will also need to provide a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each equal to 100% of the awarded contract price.
